Up All Night // Jessica’s Doll Diaries

Later that evening, Aimee is still up and working at her computer. She is retyping her notes over and over again until she has them all memorised.

(For real though, this is a good studying tip! Although it’s best if you handwrite them on paper)

“Force is equal to the change in momentum per change time…. Force is equal to the change in momentum per change time…” Aimee chants her notes as she types. “For a constant mass, force equals mass times acceleration…”

Jessica comes out to the kitchen to get a glass of water and is surprised to see that Aimee is still awake.

“You should be sleeping,” Jessica says sternly. “If you don’t get enough rest, then you won’t be able to focus on your test. You can’t study all night long!”

Aimee shuts her computer and sighs. “Jessica, you don’t understand! I need to pass this test. If I don’t pass, then I might as well just give up on everything! There’s no way I’ll get into a science degree if I haven’t passed science in high school!”

Now it’s Jessica’s turn to sigh. She can’t help but think things would be easier for Aimee if she picked a more achievable dream. The path to becoming an astronaut seems like a lot of work!

  1. Wow! Thanks for that study tip – I don’t actually have to study much (since I am homeschooled) but it would come in handy!

      1. Oh wow it does work! I wrote the same word over and over a page and a week later it won’t get out of my head =0
That is a good sign 🙂
